Alex Miller-Long is a first-year MFA Lighting Design student from Chattanooga, TN. She graduated summa cum laude with her B.A. in Theatre from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. As an undergraduate she also acted as technical director and resident lighting designer for the local experimental theater company Theatre for the New South. In addition she worked as the technical director and lighting designer for the Dance department at the performing arts magnet school Center for Creative Arts, and served as a technical specialist and designer for the Tennessee Association of Dance as well as other freelance design jobs.
