Chiquita Lu is a first year MFA student. She graduated from National Sun Yat-sen University, Taiwan with a BA in Foreign Languages and Literature, and with a BFA in Theatre Arts as her double major. During her education in Theatre Arts, she sensed, searched and communicated with the world by learning acting, directing and stage managing. She had multiple theatre credits in plays, musicals, and dance theatre in Taiwan, including: Statue of Broadway (PSM, directed by Ying-Hsuan Wu), Cyrano de Bergerac (PSM, directed by Sian-Jhe Jhu), Cikawasay (PSM, Kuo-Shin Chung Aborigine Experimental Dance Theatre 2014 tour), directing in SORRY by Timothy Mason, and acting in Into the Woods directed by Shih-Ping Yang.
Her upcoming projects in UC San Diego are: Golden Boy (ASM) and Hamlet (ASM).
