Assistant or Associate Professor of Theatre/ Head Of MFA Program In Stage ManagementCandidate must be accomplished Equity stage manager with a minimum of ten years professional experience (some background in musical theatre, dance, touring, and/or other performance forms preferred). Considerable experience as Production Stage Manager in major national venues (LORT, Broadway, national tours, or Off-Broadway) essential. Previous graduate level teaching preferred. Must supervise production work of ten graduate students and oversee their teaching assistantships. Must teach a broad range of classes in stage management and other topics in theatre management / administration. Must have MFA or equivalent in professional experience. For appointment and advancement at UC San Diego in the professorial series, faculty must continually and effectively engage in research and/or creative activity of high quality and significance. Salary commensurate with experience and based on UC pay scales.
