A Latino teen convicted of murder is hiding something about the murder he committed. As his counselor in a correctional facility tries to discover the truth behind an apparently senseless murder, his own family secrets begin to surface. In a world where nothing is ever what it seems, how do you determine justice? How much can you trust what you see? Can you ever truly know another person?

Biography

Ronald McCants is a second-year MFA Playwright. His awards and fellowships include: Fred Rogers Memorial Scholarship in Production, Lorraine Hansberry Playwriting Award (Honorable Mention), San Diego Fellowship, Horizon Theatre Fellow, and Eleanor Frost Award.  Ronald’s plays have been produced and developed at: The Kennedy Center, Watts Village Theater Center, Theatre Masters MFA Playwright’s Festival, Dartmouth College, UCSD, and SDSU. Some of Ronald's works are: To Serve the Devil, The Peacock Men, Fireman in the 9th, A Poet's Prayer, The Great Pretender, Da Foe Real Story of Cinda’rella A.K.A.
