Biography

Sharif Abu-Hamdeh (playwright) is a third-year playwright. Previous credits: The Santa Barbarians (UC San Diego, 2012); Bodies in the Park (UC San Diego, 2011); Habibi (Campo Santo, San Francisco, CA, October 2010); Canary Yellow (60 Million Plus, San Francisco, CA, July 2010); and Grayscale (UCSB New Plays Festival 2004). Creative Collaborator: Hamlet: Blood in the Brain by Naomi Iizuka, A Place to Stand by Jimmy Santiago Baca and Ntzoke Shange, Everything has been Arranged by Denis Johnson, and Des Moines by Denis Johnson. Assistant Director: Angry Black White Boy adapted by Dan Wolf, and Fuku Amerikanus adapted by Sean San Jose. Director: The Future Project: Sunday will Come, A collaboration between Campo Santo and the ESP Project.
