Galbraith Hall

Formerly a campus library, Galbraith Hall was renovated and is now the center of operations for the
Department of Theatre & Dance. Galbraith Hall houses our main office (GH 202), faculty and graduate
student offices, four large rehearsal rooms, a 99-seat theatre (
Arthur Wagner Theatre) with dressing
rooms and a stage management booth, and lab facilities for our undergraduate and graduate designers.

Galbraith Hall is located on the southwest side of campus (see map),

Classroom, office, and rehearsal room facilities:

  •  Galbraith conference room (GH 144), used for faculty meetings, production meetings, and seminars.
  •  Studio D, one of the building's four large rehearsal rooms.
  •  Graduate design studio, used for classes and individual work.
  • Undergraduate design studio.
  • The Light Lab, used for lighting design classes and experimentation by individual designers.
