Biography

FRANTISEK DEAK served as dramaturg at the Centre Universitaire International de Recherches et de Formations Dramatiques in France and as Contributing Editor to The Drama Review for several years. He has published widely in theatre journals in the US and Europe and has published a major book on Symbolist Theatre. He assumed the position of Dean of Arts and Humanities in July 1994.
