Biography

Ruolin Zhao is a first-year MFA Scenic Design student. She was born in Anhui Province, China, Ruolin Zhao studied art and love theater from a young age, and since the age of 16, she has been studying stage art in Beijing, China, and at the age of 19, she entered the National Academy of Chinese Theatre Arts to study stage lighting design. During her four years of college, she has participated in many original theater productions and set designs, as well as many theater festivals and large-scale commercial tours as a designer and stage technician. She wants to use theater to communicate with the world, and hopes to explore the infinite possibilities of stage creation from a multi-disciplinary perspective.
