Biography

Jia Shi is a first-year MFA candidate in sound design. Originally from China, she holds a BA in Performing Art Sound Design from the Central Academy of Drama. During her four years of study in Beijing, she gained extensive practical experience as a member of the sound team for a range of prestigious productions, including plays, musicals, dance dramas, variety shows, live music events, music recordings, live broadcasts, and film and game sound design. In these roles, she contributed both to content creation and technical support. Jia aspires to be a designer who bridges the gap between art and technology, using technological innovations to enhance her artistic vision.
